Anderson .Paak ‘SNL’ Debut With “Tints” Alongside Kendrick Lamar, “Who R U”

Watch Anderson .Paak perform Who r U ft. Kendrick Lamar on Saturday Night Live

Anderson .Paak has made many moves this year. To no surprise, the rapper was announced as one of the musicians slated to perform on the late-night series during Steve Carrell’s episode in November. The timing was perfect, and calculated, given that .Paak had dropped his third studio album Oxnard on November 16.

The album, named after .Paak’s hometown in California, has a stacked list of features including Kendrick Lamar, Dr. Dre, Pusha-T, J. Cole, and Q-Tip. During his performance, Anderson brought out Kendrick Lamar for his first set, “Tints” and “Who R U,” for his second.

.Paak has stated that Oxnard is the album he’s dreamed of creating since high school, and it only took Dr. Dre two months to mix the project, which thrilled impatient fans.
