Juicy J – Exotic ft. Future.
Juicy J delivers his Future assisted track, Exotic. Juicy J follows up the release of his music video for Neighbor featuring Travis Scott with this new record. Exotic with Future is another potential hit from Juicy and his impact has been felt throughout hip-hop for two decades. His countless scene-stealing guest appearances and the numerous songs sampling portions of his old records tend to overshadow the influence he’s had on the game from behind the boards.
The sounds crafted by the Juiceman for the likes of Three 6 Mafia, UGK, Ludacris and others have helped shaped crunk, trap music and just about anything falling under the southern rap umbrella.
Knowing a thing or two about production, Juicy J, who recently dropped his Travis Scott-assisted “Neighbor” video, unveils his five picks for hip-hop’s most important beats in the latest episode of XXL’s Pay Homage series.
His top five includes several well-known tracks produced by Dr. Dre, and records from iconic rap groups OutKast and UGK.
“I always felt Dr. Dre was one of the best producers in the game,” Juicy J tells XXL. He chooses the Dre productions “It’s Funky Enough” by the D.O.C., “Nuthin’ but a ‘G’ Thang” featuring Snoop Dogg and Eazy-E’s “Eazy-Duz-It,” which the Academy Award winner described as “hard as fuck.”
