The creative scheme follows the general outline of the cover art as cut-outs are featured at the beginning of the clip. Illustrations of the late XXXTentacion flash on the screen as the other artists on the song film sections to fit around X. Animated drawings of XXX appear throughout the affair as the James Larese directed video hits just above three minutes.
With the news of XXXTentacion’s posthumous album out of the bag, we’re patiently waiting to see what the promising artist was working on prior to his untimely death. We’re still shaken up over his murder as he was one of the up-and-comers that showed the most potential. X was working on Skins and Bad Vibes Forever when he passed away, and both appear to be getting releases. One of the official singles that have released since his passing is a collaboration with Lil Pump, Swae Lee, and Maluma titled “Arms Around You,” which has performed well thus far. In an effort to boost the allure of the track, the artists have linked up for a music video.
Skins is currently expected to arrive on December 7. It appears as though XXXTentacion’s estate has put in a lot of work to make the project authentic to what X would have wanted. We look forward to its release so we can see what was on his mind in the months before his death.
