Lil Yachty Sailing team member JBAN$ has at last delivered on his Sail Or Sink mixtape and he’s brought a few friends along. The new project comes through with a healthy 20 tracks, employing verses from the likes of Yachty, Offset, Smooky MarGielaa, Lil Pump, Blackbear, and Lil Uzi Vert among others.
“Being born in Savannah and growing up in Atlanta, you see a lot of different encounters and obstacles, so it’s just me talking about that, BAN$ tells Billboard of the project. “Even if it’s a party song, there’s always a backstory. In life, you’re either going to sink or sail. There are only two ways to go in life, up or down; there’s no in-between. My whole outlook with the idea is that I’m going to sail. I’m trying to do everything positive and in the right way. It’s not about making bad decisions because those can ruin your life forever.”
