Curren$y is currently awaiting the birth of his first bundle of joy with his longtime girlfriend.
The Louisiana-bred emcee revealed that the couple is expecting a baby boy by the name of Cruise sometime in the near future and in celebrating parenthood, they hosted two baby showers and much to Curren$y’s delight, there wasn’t a staple baby shower Burberry shirt in sight.
At their most recent baby shower, Curren$y’s DJ and friend DJ Duffy gifted the couple with a few custom items for the unborn Cruise, with onesies that read “Jetlife” and another that read “Rolling Pampers 2,” a play off of Wiz Khalifa’s Rolling Papers project series. “We gon’ be here all night,” Curren$y exclaims when he sees how much stuff Duffy packs in a gift bag for Cruise.
“Hands down the dopest shower I’ve ever photographed,” writes Currensy’s photographer Laiken Joy with a phot showing off the “Pampers” set. “Oh &@iwantdjduffey set the bar HIGH for gifts with this one.”
On the flip side, Spitta is currently prepping the arrival of his joint Fetti project with Freddie Gibbs, set to arrive on Halloween night. The duo hasn’t unveiled much about the project other than a snippet that confirmed that Freddie Gibbs will actually be singing on a cut.
