Carly Rae Jepsen – Party For One.
Carly Rae Jepsen returns with a new single called Party For One. Carly Rae Jepsen and Jack Antonoff linked up again for new music fir Carly’s fans. Antonoff has helped write and produce songs for Jepsen in past; most notably, he worked on the “Call Me Maybe” singer’s 2015 album EMOTION, although his songs didn’t make the tracklist.
Jepsen posted a photo late on July 1 on Instagram of the duo laughing in the studio, captioning it, “@jackantonoff and I having absolutely no fun in the studio tonight.”
Her third studio album Emotion, singlehandedly saved the gays and spawned memes alike with soaring saxophone-led single, “Run Away With Me.” And there’s “Cut to the Feeling,” which has enough strength to bring sunlight to the bottommost caves of the ocean floor. But few acknowledge the magic of Carly’s LP Kiss, and the way it somehow predicted a pivotal scene in this year’s biggest movie to date, A Star Is Born. (Jepsies scream forever!)
In early 2016, “Run Away With Me” became the soundtrack to a subgenre of Vine videos in which music or speech is replaced with the song’s iconic saxophone intro or the explosive chorus.
