Born Chikezie Theo-Okorie the Afro Pop artiste popularly known as ASCA REIGN and raised in the South South region of Port-harcourt Nigeria, is set to release his brand new single titled ‘Kwete’ (Body Bad).
ASCA REIGN is a swaggering cool confident vocalist, with a rich and vibrant afro pop style of music.
Emerging into the Nigerian music space in 2012, with his debut single ‘Kill the Beat’ and subsequently with the release of the video which earned him promising reviews on local and cable TV stations nationwide, ASCA REIGN has since switched up the ante following up his debut single with his first album titled ‘Move ON’ in 2017 . ‘Move On’ the album is rich with a diversity of styles from the afro dancehall inspired ‘My Lady’ to the upbeat afro pop tempo ‘Samba’ with video direction by Joe Chad earning great airplay and followership both locally and internationally.
Fast forward to present day, he is set to switch things up yet again with his new body of work titled ‘KWETE’ (Body bad). This song speaks to the everyday guy chase girl scenario. Evident in this new single is his unique wordplay and melody weaving sonorously over a well cooked up tempo C Melony beat guaranteed to get you on your feet.
ASCA REIGN will subsequently commence on a Radio and Club Tour regionally. Club venues and dates will be communicated shortly.
