One of the standouts off Kojo Funds’ new mixtape, Golden Hour, the fantastic “0%” finds both stars tackling standard-issue hip-hop themes, as they call out their haters; brag about their sway with the ladies; and boast of how much money they make.
While the song’s beat is undeniably infectious — heavy on the base and full of percussion — the reason the track ends up working so well is thanks to its talented stars, with Maleek Berry delivering one of his strongest choruses this year.
As for the rest of the project, which also features RAYE, Kranium, Giggs and Yxng Bane, Kojo Funds reminds us just why he is one of the most beloved new British stars working today, delivering an endlessly entertaining string of confident jams.
