The Duchess of Sussex has made sleek suiting her go-to look of late, but last night she opted for a more glamorous take on tailoring, in a bespoke Jason Wu blue dress with a cinched-in waist, side-split and structured detailing.

The Duchess has enlisted the Canadian-Taiwanese designer previously, wearing a navy wrap dress to the first Royal Foundation Forum in February. For her latest custom look by Wu, she accessorised with a simple Dior clutch and a pair of “Portrait of a Lady” satin heels from her shoe brand of choice Aquazzura (she chose to wear the Italian designer for both her engagement announcement and on her wedding day) adorned with glittering crystal slingback detail. And, instead of her signature messy bun, she wore her hair in side-swept curls.Meghan Opts For A Colourful Take On Tailoring In Bespoke Blue Jason Wu

The 100 Days to Peace charity gala at Westminster’s Central Hall, which marked the centenary of the end of World War One, is the third event that the Duchess and Prince Harry have attended together this week.

The royal couple were treated to a charitable performance of Hamilton to raise awareness of Sentebale last Thursday, then stepped out at the WellChild Awards two days ago, to celebrate the efforts of non-profit organisations to bring children out of hospital and back home to their families.
