Don Q – I Can’t Lie ft. A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie (Song).
Don Q drops his “I Can’t Lie” song featuring A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie. Don explains the condition of being a “piece of shit” as inevitable, that it’s “the way of life” and that “the hood is full of choices, n***a, pick your poison.” By the time we get to the chorus it’s clear that Don Q is loving “the way of life” even if he didn’t choose it.
He goes from being a piece of shit to the shit. As A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie belts it in the chorus: “I can’t lie/I’m that guy.” The song comes off Don Q’s new album, Don Season 2, which features another song with A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, “Yeah Yeah.”
