Listen and Download Lil Uzi Vert – Rollie Don’t Trick.
Lil Uzi Vert releases a fresh track called “Rollie Don’t Tick.” Uzi pulled us back in with a simple Instagram post, fueling even more rumors about a possible album release.
Earlier this month, fans were convinced that the Philadelphia artist would be releasing a new project in July. Becoming obsessed with a new saying, “Eternal Atake,” Uzi tweeted out the words on every occasion he had. Many believed it to be the name of the proposed album.
It also looks like Lil Uzi Vert has found beef in the most unexpected of places. This time around, his feud is with members of a cult that dates back to the 1970s. On Tuesday (July 31), Uzi shared what looked like cover art for his next studio album, Eternal Atake. The image takes major inspiration from art associated with the Heaven’s Gate cult.
“Do you think This is Track list cover or real deal,” Lil Uzi Vert asks in the caption to the photo
Heaven’s Gate gained notoriety in 1997 when leader Marshall Applewhite and 38 members of the group died by mass suicide in San Diego. Two surviving members currently maintain the Heaven’s Gate website and sent a comment to Genius about Uzi’s image.
“He is using and adapting our copyrights and trademarks without our permission and the infringement will be taken up with our attorneys. This is not fair use or parody, it it a direct and clear infringement.”
On Wednesday (August 1), Uzi shared a less controversial image that could be an alternative for Eternal Atake‘s cover.
