The Nigerian music industry was hit with shocking news of after one of its leading music acts D’banj was reported to have lost his son. The Popular Nigerian singer lost his one year old son, Daniel Oyebanjo III, today, June 24, 2018.
According to reports on multiple news outlets, D’Banj’s son died after drowning at his ikoyi abode on Sunday afternoon.
Although the superstar hasn’t issued an official statement detailing the death of his son, however, he has seemingly confirmed the news on his photo sharing social media platform, Instagram.
D’Banj, real name, Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, shared a blank image on his instagram page, with “Trying Times . But my God is Always and Forever Faithful ,” as caption.

It would be recalled that Daniel recently celebrated his one year birthday in May this year. D’Banj got married to his wife, Lineo Didi Kilgrow in a lowkey ceremony over a year ago.
