Kanye West drops new Album, Ye.

Kanye West finally gives fans a new album titled “Ye.” With two songs Lift Yourselfand Ye vs The People already out, it’s a good sign especially for music fans to get to hear the rapper drop new singles after such a long time of speculation.

Kanye West has shared an image on Twitter he says will serve as the cover of his next album. In a text conversation with a person listed as Wes (possibly GOOD Music rapper Sheck Wes), Kanye revealed a photo of Jan Adams, the plastic surgeon who performed his late mother Donda West’s last operation.

Complications from the surgery reportedly contributed to West losing her life. “This is my album cover,” he wrote. “Do you have any title ideas? I want to forgive and stop hating.”

Wes replied “LOVE EVERYONE” as a potential name for the project, an idea it seems Kanye is considering. “I love that,” he wrote. From there, the two discussed the philosophy of love.

Jan Adams performed a breast reduction surgery, among other procedures on Donda in November 2007. Donda passed away at home the next day. In January 2008, The Los Angeles County Coroner concluded that “coronary artery disease and multiple post-operative factors due to or as a consequence of liposuction and mammoplasty.”

Deputy Medical Examiner Louis A. Peña wrote in a report: “it is my opinion Ms. West died from some pre-existing coronary artery disease and multiple post-operative factors following surgery.”

Kanye announced that his next solo album will be released on June 1st. According to West, it will be seven tracks in length. The album will be followed by Kanye’s joint project with Kid Cudi, which has a release date of June 8th.

Kanye finally gave out the album name which he titled as Ye and also flew people out on jets for the album listening party. Kanye revealed the album to the public for the first time at a listening session in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Kanye live streamed the event on the WAV app. (The stream is over.) The album has yet to surface on digital streaming platforms and the official tracklist hasn’t been shared. The album is also being sold as part of merch bundles with the note that the “digital album will be delivered via e-mail upon global release on June 1.”

In the opening track, Kanye raps, “Today I thought about killing you.” In the next song, he referenced the allegations facing Russell Simmons. “Russell Simmons wanna pray for me too/Wanna pray for him ’cause he got MeToo’d.” That song also referenced Wiz Khalifa and North Korea. That track ends with him saying, “That’s my bipolar shit what/that’s not a disability that’s my superpower/I’m a superhero.”

In the third track, which features Ty Dolla $ign, he references Stormy Daniels and Tristan Thompson. On the fourth, he alludes to his controversial TMZ comments about slavery being a “choice.” (“I say slavery a choice/they say how Ye.”) He also namedrops Sway. The fifth track features a Slick Rick sample, and the sixth features Kid Cudi. The seventh song includes this bar: “I hope she like Nicki/I make her a monster.” That track ends with a voicemail from Nicki Minaj.

I have been waiting on the album for a while now and it’s finally here. No mumble rap just straight up realness. Albums from these old heads are getting way too personal though. I hope they still keep the entertainment value in. Checking this out right now.
