Watch Claymation Video For An Unreleased Quavo, Tyga & Gucci Mane

Quavo, Gucci Mane & Tyga have an unreleased track and the video got scrapped due to some personal issues.

Music producers may sometimes get a little ticked off if they aren’t getting enough love as the artists they make sick beats for. Sonny Digital is a prime example of this as he previously stated that he will be taking a step back from making beats and go forward with making a name for himself as a rapper. “Legit question: Why don’t producers get nominated for shit and we do all the fucking base-work and shit, though? Don’t get no awards,” he said. “Don’t get no recognition. All the artists just sweet up our everything.”

It seems as though another, unnamed producer, is on the same mental wave as Sonny since he reportedly scrapped a music video (after it was complete) since he apparently wasn’t “featured enough in it.”

A man named Trent Shy hopped on Reddit/HipHopHeads to share an unreleased video he made for an unreleased track by Quavo, Gucci Mane and Tyga. The video is special since it’s all stop-motion and claymation, which means every shot literally could have taken about an hour. Each character, movement, facial expression and background setting had to be crafted with clay and was then photographed over 1,000 times – if not more.

“This music video took me 3 months of working 10-15 hours a day, every day, to make,” Trent captioned the over three-minute long video below. “It was cancelled because the music producer thought he wasn’t featured enough in it. I was never asked to feature him at all. I did feature him though as a “thank you” for hiring me. It was my idea to feature him at all. His parts have been cut out as well as the music and some other parts.”

He added on Reddit: “The song is unreleased. This all just happened. I’ve watched it a million times with the music and now I have to share it without and it absolutely kills the video and makes it hard to sit through. This situation has really broken me.”

Trent was reaching out to his Reddit community to share the video, as he’s almost positive the artists have no idea about its creation. Check out the visuals below, it’s truly a dope piece of work.
