James Blake shares new song, “Don’t Miss It.”
James Blake corms through with a new song titled Don’t Miss It. After hosting another episode of his BBC Radio 1 residency on Thursday, the singer once again used the platform to drop a new single.
The new song Don’t Miss It is his first solo song since January’s “If the Car Beside You Moves Ahead,” Blake blessed the show with “Don’t Miss Me,” a haunting, introspective cut built on minimalist piano-heavy production. According to Pitchfork, the track is a collaboration with Mount Kimbie’s Dominic Maker.
After the BBC show aired, Blake uploaded “Don’t Miss Me” to YouTube with an accompanying iPhone notes screen recording, which highlights the song’s existential lyrics.
