The Weeknd comes through with a brand new project titled “We’re Alone Together.”
The Weeknd may have dropped a mini EP titled My Dear Melancholy some weeks back but there is a new mini project available for music fans titled We’re Alone Together.
Instagram account laleakers shared the unconfirmed album artwork and release date, and keen fans have noted that Tesfaye’s manager and XO CEO Tony Sal “liked” the photo. Of course, others have pointed out the Sal could just be trolling fans.
The singer’s Instagram bio does currently simply read: “we’re alone together” so that increased the anticipation levels.
Fans have been speculating that another multi-album release could be on the way — pointing to the comma at the end of My Dear Melancholy, as a hint at an unfinished project.
The Weeknd started his career by releasing mixtapes House of Balloons, Thursday and Echoes of Silence, which were later reissued as a compilation album dubbed Trilogy.
