J. COLE BREAKS DRAKE’S 24 HOUR APPLE MUSIC STREAMING RECORD


J. Cole has broken Drake’s 24 hours Apple Music Streaming record. Drake for awhile was the king of streaming as he once held the record, but J. Cole and his new project “KOD” canceled all that out.

Apple is reporting that J. Cole’s KOD in just 24 hours was streamed over 64.5 Million times breaking a record previously held by Drake. Cole beat drake by 1 Million streams.

Spotify also confirmed that J. Cole set a new streaming record for them in just 24 Hours. On spotify Cole’s album was streamed over 36.6 million times.

Apple Music pulled in 66 percent of the first-day streaming market share for KOD in the US, and 60 percent worldwide, continuing its run of major first-week streaming totals when it comes to hip-hop and R&B artists.
