Casey – Where I Go When I Am Sleeping album download
Casey debut on our platform with new music album “Where I Go When I Am Sleeping.” Giving fans a taste of what to come, the music group deliver the album’s first single “Fluorescents.” The song is a dynamic cut of powerful melodies and aggression that perfectly showcases Casey’s musical and lyrical evolution on Where I Go When I Am Sleeping.
Where I Go When I Am Sleeping is a deeply personal journey through vocalist Tom Weaver’s struggles. “I was diagnosed with brittle bones when I was born” he explains, “and when I was fifteen I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis, then at 20 I was diagnosed with manic depression. I’ve also had a heart attack and a stroke, and was in this crazy car accident that crushed half my face.” These incredibly harrowing life events have left Weaver with a particularly unique worldview that he explores on the intense new album, “looking back now, I realize I could have died four or five times. I’m lucky to be here.”

Recorded at Monnow Valley Studios and produced by Brad Wood (Placebo, Sunny Day Real Estate, Touche Amore), Where I Go When I Am Sleeping is more expansive, layered, and atmospheric than anything Casey have done before, incorporating more nuanced soundscapes into the band’s already formidable palette of desperation and rage. Its tracks flow from one vividly depicted moment to the next, a collection of snapshots, reactions, and feelings that give us a glimpse inside Weaver’s head while remaining stunningly relatable from an outside perspective.
