Xxxtentacion drops two new songs titled Changes and Sad

Xxxtentacion delivers two new singles today, with one titled Changes and Sad. The song comes after he released “Hope” which is a tribute to Parkland shooting.

“SAD!,” is a song on suicidal thoughts due to an ill-fated romance. “Who am I?” he sings. “Someone that’s afraid to let go / You decide, if you’re ever gonna let me know / Suicide, if you ever try to let go.”

Over thunderous drums, Tentacion provides emo-melodies. “I’m lost then I’m found but it’s torture being in love,” he sings. “I love when you’re around, but I fuckin’ hate when you leave.”

Up next is the piano-laden “changes,” which features more melodic musings from the controversial rapper. “Baby, I don’t understand this,” he sings. “You’re changing, I can’t stand it / My heart can’t take this damage.” X’s friend PnB Rock is credited as a songwriter on the track and he makes a special uncredited cameo.

Both “SAD!” and “changes” are slated to appear on Tentacion’s forthcoming album, the follow-up to last year’s 17.
