Singer Hailee Steinfeld returns from a long stay away from the music scene with a new single she titled Heart to Break.
Billboard caught up with singer and actress Hailee Steinfeld at the 2018 Grammys on Sunday night to discuss her new music.
“I’ve been working on new music for a while, and it’s funny because a movie can come up and take me out of the game for two, three months,” Steinfeld said.
The “Let Me Go” singer admits she is unsure of what her debut album will sound like. “I’m still experimenting, and I’m still figuring out what that sound is.” Despite not yet releasing a debut album, Steinfeld has had five Billboard Hot 100 hits.
Steinfeld also spoke about the upcoming season of The Voice, where she will be an advisor, and her upcoming Transformers movie.
She recently featured on “Capital Letters” one of the songs which is from the soundtrack of Fifty Shades Freed, yet another, albeit darker, sexual fantasy flick. This one’s got a happy ending, though.
