D. Lynch releases his forthcoming album 1985’s third track “Speak On It,” which features Royce doing what he does best. Over some playful production, both rappers trade punchlines, holding it down for anyone seeking a return to straight lyricism.
“The track lyrically, is about PTSD and other mental disabilities, in a very ironic and sarcastic way I suppose. Not making fun of it, more like “I know I’m crazy, now let’s have some fun with it,” he explains. “Royce getting on the song, came from the Anno Domini team. I was in the middle of working on the project, and got a call asking me if I had interest in having Royce Da 5’9 on the album. I didn’t even have to think about it, and instantly said yes.”
