Cassie has been low key in terms of music output for so many years but it looks like the singer is making a comeback, kicking things off with an appearance on G-Eazy’s “Love A Loser,” and now coming through with a new single “Don’t Play It Safe.” To make matters even better, the track is produced by the slept on Montreal-based producer Kaytranada.
Cassie lays down a few ground rules, singing “Don’t wanna wait for all these rules and confirmations, if you want me, gotta take it, if we change the pace up.” It’s not clear whether or not she’s gearing up for a new album, but this increased activity certainly points to something.
