It’s an ode to the traditional hip hop sound with classic samples and signature scratches from DJ Premier. Meanwhile, Ferg delivers serious bars throughout, riding the beat flawlessly without missing a breath. It’s a dope collaboration between the new school and the old and will hopefully spawn more collabs between the two.
Ferg may be a leader in the new school but he has no problems with paying his respects to those who paved the way for him.
