Dvsn revealed that their Morning After album was dropping October 13th, and now we’ve just learned Majid Jordan’s The Space Between album will be dropping two weeks after that on October 27th. The date was revealed on Wednesday thanks to a fan who caught a billboard plastered on the side of the road in Los Angeles with the release date on it.
But now, just hours after the release date surfaced online, the duo consisting of Majid Al Maskati and Jordan Ullman decided to make their sophomore album available for pre-order on iTunes, ultimately confirming its release date of October 27th and sharing a new song in the process with dvsn called “My Imagination,” which they teased on their IG stories throughout the day.
The OVO duo deliver an uptempo, club-friendly record that finds Majid Al Maskati showing off his range & high-pitched vocals, while reflecting on past relationship issues. “You remind me of a pretty girl babe, You remind me of a pretty girl babe you do/ You remind me of a pretty girl, who broke my heart/ Who tore my life apart” he sings on the hook.
Following up releases like “Phases” & “One I Want,” which are both available as instant download for those of you who pre-order the album now, “My Imagination” is another strong addition to the Toronto duo’s steady growing catalogue of hits, and all the more reason to get excited for their upcoming album.
