Jason Derulo – If I’m Lucky

Jason Derulo releases an emotional song titled “If I’m Lucky” Released today (September 1). It’s the second single from his forthcoming album 777, and it features writing from Justin Tranter and production from Mattman & Robin. The track finds the hitmaker looking for closure in a relationship where the feelings are still raw. “Who are you to say, that I didn’t love you” he asks a former lover over a racing beat.

 

Michael Jackson, the accompanying lyric video sees Derulo giving his best zombie impression as he and a horde of dancers deliver tight choreography in a large studio. “If I’m Lucky” follows “Swalla,” which featured Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolls $ign. The Caribbean-infused banger struggled at pop radio Between his unsettling blue contacts and some intense makeup applications, the video is simultaneously fierce and disturbing.
