Bronx rapper Cardi B posted an official “Latin Trap Remix” of the increasingly ubiquitous hit, in which she raps sections of the verses in Spanish. Also added is a verse from Dominican trap rapper Messiah.

Cardi B‘s “Bodak Yellow” is officially one of the biggest songs of the summer, and it’s now poised to get even bigger. Today, Cardi drops off a Spanish remix of the track, and she’s brought fellow New York City-based Dominican rapper Messiah along for the ride,One thing that’s universal, though, is charisma, and Cardi’s irrepressible swagger drips through the remix just as it did on the original.

Bardi, who comes from a Dominican and Trinidadian background, explained why the Spanish version of the track was so important for her. “A lot of my family members on my dad side of the family don’t understand English,” she wrote. “I wanted to make them proud ,Sooooo I did BODAK YELLOW IN SPANISH !!I also love Spanish music !!!”

“Bodak Yellow” cracked the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 this past week, soaring as high as No. 8. This made Bardi the first female rapper to enter the top 10 with a debut entry on the chart since Iggy Azalea did it with “Fancy.” It’s also the highest-charting single by an unaccompanied female rapper since Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda.”
