Troy Ave drops a new single titled “On My Birthday.” The Trilogy produced beat features a guitar driven progression beneath some boom-bap drums, and Troy comes through with a solid flow. “God is great and the paper straight,” raps Troy, giving us a glimpse into his current mental and fiscal situation.
While the rapper has been met with a divisive response, Troy does his thing on this one. While the Nupac moniker may haunt him for a little while longer, Troy Ave seems unperturbed. He’s in a good place right now, and he has the music to prove it.
