Nigerian superstar music act and Starboy CEO Wizkid is bound to take over the summer both in Nigeria and Internationally with his highly anticipated Extended Play “Sounds From The Other Side”.
As we have heard from his recent interviews “” is an experimental crossing with afro sound and foreign sounds and with his hard work Wizkid wants to give the African feel to the world and with his EP it might just be a Mission Accomplished.
With hits like Daddy Yo and Come Closer, Wizkid is indeed entertaining the world with his musical mastery and influential sound. The Star has also dropped off old tunes from way back such as Ghetto Youth which a lot of fans love.
On March 1, 2017 when Wizkid signed his major label deal with RCA Records and Sony Music International, and the release of his single “Sweet Love”, it was announced that his album Sounds From the Other Side is releasing on June 9, 2017 and later having dates shifted.
Wizkid has held a listening session for his “Sounds From The Other Side” summer album down in Los Angeles, USA in the early hours of Thursday, May 18, 2017.

The event was attended by friends, fans and media house Power 106 FM LA radio.
A Twitter user by name @Youngfume who attended the listening remarked on the album saying it was sounding lit
“Summer 2017 will belong to Wizkid Olaiya just heard SoundsFromTheOtherSide and it’s FUEGO,” another user Nel$on Laffit said.
The “Sounds From The Other Side” album is slated to drop in June with features from international artists like Chris Brown, TY Dolla $ign, Future and Drake among others.
The album marks his first international project to be released under Sony RCA Records with whom he signed to in 2016.
Wizkid first gained popularity with the 2010 track “Holla At Your Boy” as a signee to Banky W’s Empire Mates Entertainment. He’s also released two albums: 2011’s “Superstar” and 2014’s “Ayo”.
