One Africa Music Festival which held yesterday the 13th of May, 2017, was without the performance of East African group, Sauti Sol and also Nigerian-American born rapper, Jidenna.
The festival which witnessed the likes of P-Square, Phyno, Victoria Kimani, 9ice and a couple others, was unable to produce Jidenna and Sauti Sol on stage.
In a recent Instapost, a fan with the handle, @Akinyemilaw, shared a video where the Chief Don’t Run rapper, tendered a public apology to his fans saying it was not in his intentions not to perform. Though the fan had some complaints of his own, here’s what he tagged the post;

It hurts….. One of the reasons why I attended #GidiFest2017 was to see @Sautisol perform. For whatever reason, that didn’t happen….the organisers are rarely held accountable… . No Naija concert keep to time…. A concert slated for 7pm could start for like 11pm…. #Repost from @jidenna with @regram.app … Cheers to the artists and organizers of #OneAfrica! I was supposed to perform 2night but the show was cut off as I waited backstage. I’m disappointed that London wasn’t able to see me 2night. Regardless of whose to blame, to make this our time we must be on time #OneAfrica.
