Hailee Steinfeld – Most Girls
One of pop’s most prolific divas had to be Hailee Steinfeld.
After featuring on a batch of club-bangers (Grey & Zedd’s “Starving,” Kato & Sigala’s “Show You Love” and Digital Farm Animal’s “Digital Love”), the 20-year-old jumped on Machine Gun Kelly’s latest attempt at a hip-hop/pop crossover, “At My Best.” She’s now ready to focus on her own music — revealing the cover and release date (April 28) on new single, “Most Girls.” It is expected to be the lead single from her upcoming debut LP.
So far, Hailee has made the transition from Oscar-nominated actress to rising pop star look deceptively easy. She struck pop gold out of the gate with “Love Myself,” which was penned by Justin Tranter and Julia Michaels, and followed it up with a cute pop/rock anthem called “Most Girls” “Rock Bottom.” It will be interesting to see which direction she goes in this time. Hailee has dabbled in multiple genres, but hasn’t really defined her own sound yet. I guess we’ll find out on Friday.
