Empire is finally back with the premiere, season 3, episode 10. Entitled “Sound & Fury” the Lyon family will surely not waste a second getting us right back into the drama.
The last time that we saw Lucious, Cookie, Andre, Jamal and Hakeem, things were most certainly about to combust. As the patriarch of the Lyon family, Lucious is still vying for control of everything. That includes Cookie’s new love interest, Angelo, who he has managed to get embroiled in controversy during the midst of his mayoral campaign.
Meanwhile, Andre is still looking quite nefarious as he tries to dethrone his father. This has the feeling that someone is going to end up either hurt or dead with the way things have been going. Jamal, on the other hand, is lucky to be alive as we last saw him feeling the strong effects of addiction. Now in rehab, we’ll see where he goes from here.
