Lorde’s newest song is an exceedingly emotional and bare-bones piano ballad. The song wouldn’t sound tremendously out of place in the catalog of Adele, Sia or any number of other pop powerhouses. But coming from Lorde, with this particular lyric and delivery, the thing is an absolute jaw-dropper.
Serving as the follow up to her visual for “Green Light” and the latest record off her forthcoming Melodrama LP, Lorde unloads her new single, “Liability.”
