Fetty really didnt really drop songs like he did in 2015, but he has maintained the same prolific output. Like Money Hoes & Flows before it, Fetty’s new project Zoovier keeps the stakes low, with the New Jersey rapper sticking closer to rap’s pulse rather than searching for hits. “Flip Phone” is a brand new song that did not appear on the tape, but stays in line with the rapper’s most recent release. The track finds Fetty taking his melodic flows to a beat that incorporates the piercing siren sound popularized by 808 Mafia, making for a song that would fit comfortably within a playlist of Atlanta’s biggest rap tracks.
The video keeps things similarly simple, showing Fetty and his crew turning up in the studio, gripping bottles of Hennessy and flexing their jewelry.
