Erykah Badu joined Nas for a stirring performance of “This Bitter Land,” their powerful collaboration off the soundtrack to The Land, on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Wednesday night
Hitting the stage with an orchestra behind them, Badu delivered the stirring chorus, while Nas rhymed about issues concerning police brutality and race, puling out cash to help illustrate his points.
Next month, Badu will host the Soul Train Awards in Las Vegas for the second year in a row. Taped Nov. 6 at the Orleans Arena, the broadcast will air Nov. 27 on CENTRIC and BET.
