Hakeem leaves the altar, and a rooftop fight between Anika and Rhonda leads to a tragic fall; Lucious uses his streaming service to pursue his music legacy and clashes with Tariq, who leads a federal task force to investigate him.
Picking up from after Hakeem’s ill fated wedding, where his fiance, Laura left him alter. Instead, his father, Lucious married Anika so she will be unable to testify against him to the FBI. Anika happens to be pregnant with Hakeem’s child and his Lucious’ former fiance.
Does the drama have your head spinning? We’re just getting started. The premiere of Season 3 should also bring answers to who fell off the roof in the fight between Anika and Rhonda and whether anyone died. Anika is present in teaser clips for Season 3, indicating that she survives; however, show runners and actors are not revealing any details about the characters’ fates.

After getting shot in Season 2 amid a major clash with Lucious, Jamal will defend his father against a common adversary in Season 3. However, the two still don’t see eye-to-eye. Meanwhile, Cookie is encouraging Jamal to get back into the studio and record new music, but he continues to get distracted with other obligations.

Lucious continues to deal with his various familial and romantic drama, he will continue to have to fight to keep control of Empire Entertainment and will also go toe-to-toe with ah FBI agent named Tariq, who happens to be his half-brother.
