Ja Rule and Ashanti are hitting the road together. After rumors began floating around last year following some spot dates, the former Murder Inc. hit-makers have announced their joint jaunt will take place late August through mid September.
Titled the “Natural Born Tour,” they recently had to rethink the original title, which was the “Natural Born Killers Tour,” after feeling that it was too insensitive to all of the senseless violence going on in the world.
Ja and Ashanti have proven chemistry together since ruling much of the early 2000s with multiple collaborative hits, including “Always On Time,” “Mesmerize,” “Leaving,” “Wonderful,” “What’s Luv?,” “Rain On Me (Remix)” and more.
They will kick off the tour August 25 at the Playstation Theater in New York City, and travel to cities including Philadelphia, Atlanta, New Orleans, Los Angeles and more.
