Joshua Owhighoakporie Ataobor (born January 9), better known as Josh Rex, is a Nigerian singer-songwriter, musician. Born in okokomaiko, Lagos state. Joshua Owhighoakporie Ataobor hails from Delta state. His family moved to okokomaiko in Lagos state where he was raised, and graduated from Ajangbadi high school Lagos. Joshua had always had a flair for music ,singing and playing the keyboard from the age of four. When he was younger he listened to songs played by his parents. He developed a passion for the bass guitar at the age of 12. Joshua grew up among brothers who were instrumentalists and singers so he listened, learnt and understood the basics of music from them.
The young singer who is yet to have an album of himself said that he was aiming at getting to a stage where listeners of his songs will get entertained and inspired
