Singer Elley Duhe releases a new single ‘Can You Touch’ which will be included as part of her forthcoming debut EP alongside previous single ‘Fly’.
Sparse, hip-hop influenced production underlines the song, allowing breathing room for Duhé to perform acrobatic vocal lines that command the listener’s attention, inflected with a cadence that is not dissimilar to that of SZA. Of the lyrical themes behind the song, Duhé has stated that the resonating sentiment is that “Negative people can’t touch me because I’m at such a high place.” “I won’t allow anyone’s negativity to bring me down.”
