Lil Uzi recently thrilled fans at the Intimate Soundcloud Celebration Event In New York by giving them energetic renditions of his best-known songs, including “The Way Life Goes” and “XO Tour Llif3.” He also performed “wokeuplikethis,” the Pi’erre Bourne-produced banger that elicited more than a few of those iconic shoulder rolls from the rapper.
After bumping through “Seven Million” and “Do What I Want,” he ended his set by jumping into the VIP booth and throwing it back to one of the songs that made him on the streaming platform. “Since this is SoundCloud, I guess we have to do ‘7AM,'” he exclaimed, ending off his stage time with an exclamation mark.
Lil Wop had opened the show and set the tone for the evening in a big way. Running through a bunch of cuts from Wopavelli 3, Wop also gave audiences a taste of what’s to come from him musically, performing several unreleased joints off his upcoming album. His 30-minute set ended with his signature “ayy” ad libs, which delighted the crowd before Uzi took to the stage.
