Barbra Streisand and Jamie Foxx have teamed up for a cover of The Sound of Music classic “Climb Ev’ry Mountain,” off Streisand’s upcoming duets album, Encore: Movie Partners Sing Broadway.

“I wanted to sing with Jamie Foxx because he just has a fantastic voice and…a very, very soulful sound,” Streisand says to introduce her partner.

Meanwhile, Foxx remarked he’s excited for his mom to see him performing with one of the greatest living legends of the screen, stage and recording studio.

Streisand’s Encore: Movie Partners Sing Broadway is her 35th studio album and also includes duets with Alec Baldwin, Hugh Jackman, Seth MacFarlane and Daisy Ridley & Anne Hathaway.

Speaking about the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic, Foxx notes in the video that he used to sing the song in church. Streisand adds, “It has faith built into it. It’s about taking chances and risks and striving to be better.”

The clip also includes Foxx messing around in the studio, giving a Quincy Jones impression.
