FC Barcelona got the better of Atletico Madrid in the first leg of champions league quarterfinal but Atletico were up for it in the second leg at Vicente Calderon and put Barcelona under massive pressure from the start. Atletico after missing couple of easy chances finally scored when Antoine Griezmann headed home from close range to put Atletico in the lead not only in the game but overall on aggregate.
Antoine Griezmann’s first half goal put Atletico 1-0 up and they defended for their life to keep Barcelona at bay for most part of the game. Barcelona obviously had more possession but Atletico dig deep to get the result they wanted.
