First Lady allegedly ordered arrest of Chibok women protester

According to a report by Associated Press, it was the First Lady that ordered the arrest of Mrs Naomi Nyarda, the Chibok woman protester who was arrested this morning, though the police later denied it was an arrest.

Hajia Saratu Angus Ndirpaya of Chibok town told AP that men of the State Security Service agents drove her and protest leader Naomi Mutah Nyadar to a police station on Monday morning  after they finished an all-night meeting at the presidential villa in Abuja with the first lady.  Read full story here
